Join us for a conversation on the Electoral College, first proposed by James Wilson at the Constitutional Convention of 1787. Is it still the best path for electing the President of the United States?  Of the 27 nations in the European Union, how many directly elect their Head of Government?  (Answer:  Two.)  Did Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party win the national popular vote in 2019 and 2021?  (Answer:  No.  The Conservative Party won a plurality of the vote in both elections.)  Special note: Mr. Maibach served as Chairman of the PAWAC Board of Directors in 1978-79 when he was a Government Affairs Manager at Caterpillar.
