August 30, 2026 - The Peoria Area World Affairs Council is excited to announce the election of the following members to the PAWAC Board of Directors:
Cameron Horn is an Instructor of Business Administration at Illinois Weslyan University. Christoper is a Communications Manager and Associate Historian at The Dirksen Congressional Center. Dr. McKnight is the Director Community Health Policy & Planning at the Peoria County/City Health Department.
Trevor Nigus will be assuming the role of President of the Board for 2026-27, with Katherine Swise being elected to serve as President-Elect. PAWAC congratulates & applaudes Lawrence Tangel on his successful 2025-26 as Board chair!
