September 1, 2025 - The Peoria Area World Affairs Council is excited to announce the election of the following members to the PAWAC Board of Directors:
Christopher is a judge for the 10th Judicial Court for the state of Illinois. Cherie is a manager for Leaves 'n Beans at their Peoria Heights location. Dr. Ribbens is the Director of the Varner International Business Institute at Illinois State University.
Lawrence Tangel will be assuming the role of President of the Board for 2025-26, with Trevor Nigus being elected to serve as President-Elect. PAWAC congratulates Leslie Murphy on a successful 2024-25 term as President of the Board!
Carolyne Wilhelm was also elected to assume the role of Board Secretary.
